In what seems to be a heartfelt gesture, former MI skipper and batting stalwart, Rohit Sharma hugged and encouraged the young pacer Satyanarayana Raju before the game against Gujarat Titans. The talented pacer was picked by the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians for an amount of INR 30 lakhs during the IPL 2025 mega auction.
The 25-year-old made his IPL debut for MI in their campaign opener against CSK; Raju also scalped his first wicket in the ongoing game against the Gujarat Titans.
The heartfelt video of Rohit Sharma hugging and making Satyanarayana Raju feel special in the camp also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).
