Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) posted a massive 235 on the board in their IPL 2025 game against Gujarat Titans (GT). Skipper Rishabh Pant joined the ‘no-look’ shot six club when he hit Kagiso Rabada deep into the stands. The incident occurred in the fifth ball of the final over bowled by the South African pacer. Rabada tried to follow the batter as Pant made his way towards the leg-stump.

Rishabh Pant was ready for the ball and ducked under the ball and played the ball perfectly into the stands for a six. Pant, who has been struggling for form, hit two sixes in his knock of 16 off just six balls. Shubman Gill’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss backfired as the visiting side racked up a huge total on the board.

Mitchell Marsh played an amazing innings to register his maiden century in the IPL. The 33-year-old scored 117 off 64 balls with 10 boundaries and eight huge sixes. Nicholas Pooran was not out on 58, which came off just 27 balls. The 29-year-old hit four boundaries and five huge sixes in his innings.

William O'Rourke then got the big wicket of Sai Sudharsan, who was caught by Aiden Markram for 21 runs off 16 balls. Jos Buttler hit Avesh Khan for two fours and two sixes as the over produced 21 runs. Titans had managed to score 67 runs from their powerplay overs.

Shubman Gill continued to punish the bowlers to reach 35 runs before he fell to an amazing catch by Abdul Samad. The 25-year-old hit seven sweetly timed boundaries during his knock before he became the second wicket to fall.
