Star India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was a part of the Indian team that recently clinched the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. However, he didn’t get a chance to feature in the XI but still managed to hit the headlines for his iconic celebrations with veterans like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli after India won the title, defeating New Zealand in the tournament’s final.
Meanwhile, Pant has also attracted the eyeballs for his recent appearance at his sister’s wedding immediately after the conclusion of the prestigious cricket quadrennial. Pant can be seen dancing with his family members; he wore casual attire while dancing at his sister Sakshi Pant’s wedding.
The video immediately went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant, on her Instagram story with the caption, “When your brother wins the final and rushes straight to your wedding.”

Speaking of cricket, Rishabh Pant will be in action in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025, in which he will be leading the Lucknow Super Giants franchise. The tournament will kick off on March 22. Notably, Pant was bought by LSG for a whopping amount of INR 27 crores during the IPL 2025 mega-auction.
Earlier last year, he was released by his previous franchise, Delhi Capitals, ahead of the auction for the upcoming 18th edition of the tournament. The star Southpaw has made 111 appearances in IPL, scoring 3284 runs in 110 innings with a decent batting average of 35.31 and a strike rate of 148.93. He also has a century and 18 half-centuries to his credit in his sparkling IPL career.
Apart from that, he has also experienced captaining an IPL team in 43 games, in which he has won 23 games while losing 19, with a success percentage of 53.48
