Team India won the Champions Trophy 2025 by beating New Zealand in the finals by four wickets. Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning runs as he hit the final ball of the 49th over off William O Rourke. Once the winning runs were hit, Jadeja gave a flying kiss to his teammates as Rohit Sharma lifted his second successive ICC title as the captain.Â
Once the game was done, Jadeja was joined by pacers Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh. The trio were seen doing the Gangnam style dance, which was made famous in 2012 by the famous Korean singer PSY. Interestingly, team India, which had won the Champions Trophy 2013, had done the same celebration.Â

Ravindra Jadeja joined KL Rahul, with India still needing 11 runs from 15 balls, with Kly Jamieson dismissing Hardik Pandya. As soon as Jadeja came into bat, he began by taking two quick runs in successive balls to bring the needed equation down into single figures. Once William O Rourke bowled the last ball, and the trophy was secured, the entire Indian contingent ran to the ground.Â
KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya star with the bat in yet another tricky chaseÂ
Indian cricket team were 105 for one while chasing 252 runs to win. Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell then got the wickets of Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. Skipper Rohit Sharma, who was batting well, was out stumped for 76 to make the match interesting once again.Â
Shreyas Iyer then went after the bowlers and hit two sixes and two fours in his knock of 48. Yet again, the Kiwi bowlers struck as Iyer was dismissed by Santner and Axar Patel was out for 29. This got Hardik Pandya to the crease, and just like the last match against Australia, the two batters absorbed pressure and played big shots.Â
Pandya hit Rachin Ravindra for a 107-meter six as the required run-rate was back below six runs per over. KL Rahul was not out on 34 off 33 balls with one four and a six, while Pandya hit 18 runs with the bat. Â
