Indian singer Rahul Vaidya has found himself embroiled in a war of words with Virat Kohli’s fans on social media. The incident happened after Vaidya was blocked by Kohli on social media platforms. The singer took to his social media handle and wrote, “Virat Kohli’s fans are even bigger jokers than Virat”.
Just one thought: the situation was over after the social media post by the singer; Vaidya further antagonised the fans with a short video. Rahul Vaidya could be heard singing a popular Hardy Sandhu song to taunt the fans. The move didn’t sit down well with many who called out Vaidya for his antics.
The singer also posted another story which read, “And now you are abusing me that’s fine. But you are abusing my wife and my sister who has nothing to do with this! So I was right that’s why you all Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers”. The entire controversy began when Vaidya was seen taking a jibe at the cricketer over his post after the Avneet Kaur controversy.
Vaidya had said “Main kehna chahta hoon ki aaj ke baad aisa ho sakta hai ki algorithm bohot saare photos like karde jo maine nahi kare. So, jo bhi ladki ho, please don’t do PR around it because it is not my mistake. It is Instagram’s mistake, okay? This unwanted jibe had seen Kohli block Vaidya from social media platforms.
Rahul Vaidya takes yet another jibe at Kohli
After getting blocked by Kohli, the singer posted a video and said, “So, guys, Virat Kohli has blocked me, all you all know. So I think voh bhi Instagram ki glitch hogi, voh Virat Kohli ne block nahi kiya hoga. Instagram ke algorithm ne bola hoga Virat Kohli ko, ‘Ek kaam kar, main tere behalf pe Rahul Vaidya ko block kar deti hoon.’ Haina?
A few days ago, Virat Kohli posted a story explaining his side of the story after liking one of Avneet Kaur’s pictures on social media. The message read, “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
