India's former head coach, Rahul Dravid, passed on the baton to the new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, over a video message. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arranged a surprise video for Gambhir as he did not know what was happening then. When he entered the shooting area, he asked, "Do we have to record something?"

He was absolutely surprised to hear Dravid from the other side of the laptop and kept smiling continuously. It was an emotional moment for both legends as one had already served the nation, and the other one is about to start his journey. Hence, the video went viral on social media as the fans loved Gambhir's reaction to watching the video.

Gambhir's tenure will start with the upcoming Sri Lanka series, in which he will handle the young Indian team in the T20I series and the experienced squad in the ODI series. Rohit Sharma will lead the attack in the ODI series along with Virat Kohli and many other experienced players on the squad. Moreover, Suryakumar Yadav is set to start his captaincy journey with the T20I series.

I also wish you a little bit of luck: Rahul Dravid

In the video, former India coach Rahul Dravid talked about a lot of things, including the luck factor, which both players and the coach need. He mentioned that coaches require more luck to handle a bunch of players with different skill sets. Overall, it was an emotional and informative video that Gautam Gambhir much needed before starting his stint.

"I also hope that you will have the availability of fully fit players in every squad. Good luck with that. I also wish you a little bit of luck, as you know that all of us coaches need to make us look that little bit wiser and smarter than we actually are," said Rahul Dravid.
