PBKS defeated PBKS by 8 wickets in the 13th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The game was played at the BRSABV Stadium in Lucknow. Meanwhile, an entertaining and hilarious video of an RCB fan getting subjected to the anger of a PBKS during the game also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The incident happened in the second innings when Shreyas Iyer’s Punjab Kings were chasing the target of 172 runs. It all started when the TV camera was focused on the spectators’ section, where an over-enthusiastic RCB fan attempted to make himself appear in the camera.
In the same line of events, he happened to bend forward and his hand went over the head of a PBKS fan, which made the latter upset and bash the RCB fan aside.

Speaking of the action of the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings, the visiting skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and asked LSG to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted a total of 171 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran played a crucial knock of 44 runs off just 30 balls, with five fours and two sixes, followed by Ayush Badoni’s 41 runs off 33 balls, with one four and three sixes.
Arshdeep Singh scalped 3 wickets for PBKS, alongside a wicket each picked by Lockie Ferguson, Glenn Maxwell, Marco Jansen, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
While chasing the target, the Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer once again led from the front and helped her side go over the line to win the game by 8 wickets. Star PBKS opener and wicketkeeper-batter Prabhsimran Singh smashed 69 runs off just 34 balls, with nine fours and three sixes, followed by Shreyas Iyer’s 52 runs off just 30 balls, with three fours and 4 sixes. Besides these two, Nehal Wadhera also smashed 43 runs off 25 balls, with three fours and four sixes.
