The ongoing Ranji Trophy game between Kerala and Uttar Pradesh has faced a major leakage crisis, which led to stumps on day three. The match is happening at the St Xaviers College ground at Thumba in Thiruvananthapuram, where the dressing room facilities are worse than expected. Due to heavy rains, a severe water leakage happened in the dressing room, where rainwater leaked from the roof of the dressing room in multiple places.
As per Indian Express, players complained about their kit bags being damaged because of the leakage. This led to many controversies regarding the choice of venues for Ranji games. There have been several instances where the stadiums or the venues where players' stay weren't under good conditions.
