Cummins bowled a beautiful length delivery which came in through the gap between the bat and the pad, dismantled the stumps. The Australian captain claimed three wickets while Scott Boland claimed a six wickets haul. He bolwed brilliantly in the second innings, troubling the Indian batters throughout the game. Replacing Josh Hazlewood in the game, Boland turned out to be an asset for the team.

Sundar scored 12 runs off 43 balls including just one boundary. He was resilient on the pitch, facing all sorts of deliveries. His mature batting in the series is one of the key takeaways for India. Apart from him, there are a few batters who have scored well throughout the series. In a way, the reason behind India's loss in the BGT is due to the batters failure.

Jasprit Bumrah to not bowl in second innings of fifth Test match

Jasprit Bumrah has taken 32 wickets in five Test matches and is the leading wicket-taker of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. An incredible bowler, Bumrah, will not be bowling in the final innings of the final game. As per a BCCI source, Bumrah isn't fully fit and went to the doctors for a checkup.

According to a BCCI source who spoke to Times of India said, “Bumrah was taken for a precautionary scan after a back spasm, but nothing serious at the moment. He should be okay to bat, but a final call on bowling will be taken on basis of how he feels in the morning."
