The Netherlands bowling attack has always performed better against the South Africans in the World Cups. This time, too, the Proteas' batting lineup seems weak in front of the Netherlands' bowling attack, as they have already lost four wickets. The pacer, Logan van Beek, has clean bowled the opener, Reeza Hendricks, with a perfect delivery in the 2nd over of the match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The batter had no idea about the delivery as he just left the ball while the ball went past the stumps, hitting the bails.

It was a dream delivery for every bowler and a nightmare for batters. The video went viral within minutes as the viewers enjoyed watching the delivery. As of now, Logan has been economical, as he has bowled two overs and conceded just four runs.

If the bowlers take up the responsibility well, the Netherlands might upset the Proteas again in the World Cup. As per history, the Netherlands has always dominated South Africa in the marquee event, and it seems like they are doing it again. Besides Logan, Vivian Kingma is also bowling well, taking two wickets in four overs.

Sybrand Engelbrecht saves the day as Netherlands scores 103 runs

South Africa's decision to bowl first came in handy as the Netherlands could only manage to score 103 runs in the first innings thanks to Sybrand Engelbrecht's 40 runs off 45 balls and Logan van Beek's 23 runs off 22 balls. All the other batters failed to show up. Hence, the team could only manage to touch the 100-run mark.

Ottneil Baartman's brilliant bowling once again saved South Africa. He claimed four wickets and conceded just 11 runs in his four-over spell. Marco Jansen and Anrich Nortje took two wickets each with him, which were also quite economical. If the South African batters managed to chase the score, this would be their second victory and their head one step closer to the Super 8.
