WATCH: MS Dhoni spotted feeding biscuits to dog during CSK's practice session ahead of IPL 2025

Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is all set for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. During the practice session, Dhoni was seen feeding biscuits to a dog who was standing in front of him. We are all aware of his love for animals, as he has a lot of dogs in his house in Ranchi. 

CSK's official account uploaded the heartwarming video on social media. All the players around him were sitting and watching their former captain make some sweet gestures ahead of the tournament. Dhoni has been an inspiration for budding cricketers throughout his career.

CSK will start their campaign against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on March 23 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Playing the first game against the archrivals will surely bring out the best in the people. There are some quality players in both teams who will surely look forward to facing each other. MI will miss their lethal pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, as he is out for the first couple of weeks. 

Can CSK lift the IPL trophy this season?

Chennai Supers Kings (CSK) are one of the most successful franchises in the tournament, winning five IPL titles and two Champions League titles under captain MS Dhoni. Well, this season might be a tough one for them since MS isn't the captain anymore. Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead the side in the second consecutive season and all the responsibilities will fall on him. 

The franchise has some good players like Devon Conway, Rachin Ravindra, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, and many more who might turn out to be game-changers. Like always, the management has invested a lot of money in the players, so Noor Ahmad is likely to play most of the games. If we look at the pace bowling attack, the team has Khaleel Ahmed and Mathisha Pathirana, who will lead the pace attack. While the team looks good on paper, the players will have to perform well to lead the team to victory.
