Speaking to the media ahead of the three-match T20I series against Australia, Mohammad Rizwan said, “KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav are all welcome. All the players who will come, we will welcome them. This is not our decision, this is PCB's decision. Whatever decision will take place, hopefully, they will all discuss and take the right call. But we are hopeful that if the Indian players will come, we will welcome them."

Pakistan has made a great start under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan. The men in green beat Australia 2-1 in the ODI series after 22 years. Both sides will now meet each other in the three-match T20I series that begins on Thursday in Brisbane.

Speaking to the media ahead of the 3-match T20I series, Sports Tak quoted Mohammad Rizwan as saying, "It is fine we have celebrated the ODI series win because no one expected us to win in Australia. But at the same time, all the players must remember they are ambassadors of Pakistan and behave appropriately at all times on tour.”

Pakistan skipper also added, “I think we must all strive to win big titles like the World Cups and Champions Trophy to show everyone what Pakistan cricket is capable of."  Australia will be without some of their senior stars. Josh Inglish who led the side in the final ODI will lead Australia.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has urged India to come for the Champions Trophy 2025. Afridi wrote his feelings on X and termed the latest stand-off as ‘Cricket at its crucial crossroads”

Shahid Afridi wrote, “Cricket is at a crucial crossroads, facing perhaps one of its greatest challenges since the late 1970s. Now is the time to put differences aside and let the game unite us. If countries once divided by history can come together in the Olympic spirit, why can’t we do the same for cricket - and for the Champions Trophy?"

Afridi also wrote “As stewards of this game, we owe it to cricket to keep egos in check and focus on its growth and spirit. I hope to see every team in Pakistan for CT25, to experience our warmth and hospitality, and to leave with unforgettable memories that transcend the field”
