Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025 witnessed yet another ugly incident take place. Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and Bangladeshi pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib nearly came to fisticuffs on Sunday. The incident took place during the Sylhet Strikers versus Khulna Tigers match, which was played in Sylhet on Sunday.
Mohammad Nawaz was dismissed by Tanzim for 33 caught by Zakir Hasan. Just as the batter was heading back to the hut, the bowler went ahead and shoulder-charged him. Nawaz got upset and started to walk aggressively towards the bowler. Both players were involved in an animated war of words before players and umpires separated the duo.
The batter walked off the park angrily and could be seen sitting with a scowl on his face in the dugout. This isn’t the first time the league has witnessed angry scenes this year. Tamim Iqbal and Alex Hales had angry exchange of words after the former Bangladeshi opener asked the Englishman if he was “still taking drugs.”

Khulna lost wickets at regular intervals as the home team bowlers kept a tight leash on the scoring.
