WATCH: Mitchell Starc delivers a beauty; Rattles Usman Khawaja's stumps during practice sessions ahead of BGT 2024

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 is approaching faster, making the players and fans all nervous about the series. For both India and Australia, the series is important because the path to qualification in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 finals is through this. While the Aussies are safe for now, India have to win four out of their last five games in the cycle to book their place in the finals. 

Practising for the BGT, Mitchell Starc looked in terrific form as he dismantled Usman Khawaja's stumps in the nets. The pacer bowled him, which left the batter stunned because he wasn't expecting such a delivery. The video went viral on social media, and the Indian fans went crazy over the bowling. Some of the comments made in the post were hilarious, but they came from a frightened fan's point of view.

India have the upper edge in the series as they have been dominating it for a long time now. Australia were defeated in the last four outings, which motivated them to do well in the upcoming series. The team is full of destructive batters and bowlers, and this time, they will make it extremely difficult for the visitors to win a match.

Mitchell Marsh is looking forward to the series since the Indian bowlers have done well in the past. Marsh is ready to play against them, which looks like a sign of warning for the visitors. India's previous series didn't go as expected, but they will surely try to bounce back.

During his chat with Fox Cricket, Marsh said, “They’re world-class bowlers. I’m looking forward to the challenge. But how much spin will play in Australia, we’ll wait and see. They’ve got an outstanding fast-bowling attack, but there’s no doubt they’re world-class spinners, and I’ve got a lot of respect for them.”
