After the successful Test series, Team India are set to take on Bangladesh in the first of 3 T20I games on Sunday. Gwalior is set to see the newly crowned T20 World Cup winners take to the field for the first time at home.

Suryakumar Yadav and the rest of the stars will be eager to get back onto the field against a hurting Bangladeshi side. Latest pace sensation Mayank Yadav was seen sweating it out in the nets. BCCI posted a short video on their social media handles. In the video, Mayank Yadav along with Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Hardik Pandya could be seen bowling full tilt. The 22-year-old Mayank made heads turn with his blistering pace during IPL 2024.

The Lucknow Super Giants pacer could be seen giving it his all as he ran in to bowl. Former LSG bowling coach Morne Morkel was seen having a quiet word with Harshit Rana towards the end of the video. After the game in Gwalior, the teams will move to New Delhi and Hyderabad to play the final two matches of the series.

New stars on the horizon for team India

Mayank Yadav was at his best during IPL 2024 before injury laid him low. The right-arm pacer has been training hard at the National Cricket Academy. According to reports, Gautam Gambhir and rest of Indian team management want to be cautious with Yadav. The decision to blood him into the T20I series is a gradual process for his return.

Harshit Rana will also be looking to make his debut as the right-arm pacer was one of the best bowlers in the IPL. The right-arm pacer played a critical role for Kolkata Knight Riders during their IPL 2024 title win. Riyan Parag and Abhishek Sharma too make a comeback to the side after an impressive tour of Sri Lanka.

Veteran spinner Varun Chakravarthy has made it back to the team after nearly three years out. The 33-year-old was one of the key reasons why KKR could break their 10 year wait for IPL title. Nitish Kumar Reddy is another young player the fans will keep their eyes on. The youngster was impressive with bat and ball for Sunrisers Hyderabad during the IPL 2024 season.
