India are in deep trouble as captain Rohit Sharma departs cheaply for 18 runs in the 3rd Test match against New Zealand at the Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai. The crowd was stunned after the dismissal as Matt Henry bowled a cutter. Rohit was also shocked as he was looking to play the ball to the on side but ended up edging the ball instead. The bat's face remained closed and hence, the ball went straight to the 2nd slip.
With this dismissal, India's opening pair failed once again to make a good partnership in the tournament. As Rohit's flop show continues, Shubman Gill walked into the crease with a positive intent.
New Zealand scored 234 runs in the first innings, and now it's India's turn to give them a good total. Together the bowlers finished the New Zealand batting attack under 250 runs. Jadeja dismissed some of the best batters which was extremely important for the team. The bowlers have done their job, and it's time for the batters to do theirs.
