WATCH: Kusal Mendis lives fanboy moment after getting signed jersey from Virat Kohli

Sri Lanka's star batter, Kusal Mendis, lived his fanboy moment after getting a signed jersey from Virat Kohli. After playing an amazing knock in the 3rd ODI, Mendis' gift was an autographed jersey from King Kohli. After the game ended, Kohli was seen giving him the jersey with his sign on it. Mendis was extremely happy with this gift and happily went back to his team as they were standing near the presentation area to collect their trophy. 

In the video which went viral, Mendis' happiness was quite evident as he collected the jersey from Kohli. Well, this isn't the first time any player has had the luck of taking Kohli's signed jersey.

Kohli's series didn't go since he was dismissed by the spinners thrice. He was a strong player of spin earlier, but his struggle in the series didn't sit well with the critics. People have started questioning his form and his place in the team just like other times. While other series are coming up, people will keep a close eye on Kohli's performance. 

I am a happy captain right now: Charith Asalanka

After winning the ODI series against India, Charith Asalanka was very happy. During the presentation, he said he was a happy captain. His team performed well in all the departments, which is good news for Sri Lankan cricket. They have broken the 27-year curse and, hence, will be happy with the team effort. 

"I am a happy captain right now. The team did all things right throughout the series. We all knew they are a strong batting lineup, and we wanted to back our strength; spin was our strength, and we backed it," said Asalanka at the post-match presentation.
