The fireworks began in the 15th over of the innings. Khushdil started the over with a 76-meter six over deep mid-wicket. Continuing his aggressive intent, he smashed another six towards long-on. Under pressure, Nasum lost his line and length, delivering a full toss on the third ball of the over, which Khushdil dispatched over deep square leg. In an attempt to recover, Nasum bowled a full-length delivery on the fourth ball, but Khushdil struck yet another six, this time towards long-on.

Brilliant partnership between Khushdil and Iftikhar

Khusdil went for another big hit in the fifth ball of the over but it was too far from his reach as Nasum bowled a widish delivery. Khushdil took a single and Iftikhar came on strike just to take another single. Nasum conceded 26 runs and it helped Rangpur Riders to put a fighting total on the scoreboard.

Talkin about the match, Rangpur Riders won the toss and decided to bat first. The Riders didn’t have a great start as they lost their first two wickets on the score of just 30 runs inside the powerplay. However, later, Iftikhar steadied the ship with opener Tawfique Khan for a 40-run stand.

The flow of runs decreased which was later accelerated by Khushdil who smashed 73 runs off just 35 balls, featuring four fours and six sixes. Khushdil with Iftikhar, built a 115-run stand for the fourth wicket and helped the team to put 186 runs on the scoreboard.
