The Indian women's cricket team is in a celebratory mood after their second straight win in the ongoing Asia Cup T20 2024. India's latest win was a massive 78-run win over UAE, which helped them almost secure a place in the semi-finals. They are currently at the top of the Group A points table with 4 points and a healthy net run rate (NRR) of +3.298.

Following their win against UAE in Dambulla, star batter Jemimah Rodrigues was seen jamming to the popular Bollywood song ‘Mere Sapno ki Rani’ with the fans in Sri Lanka. Rodrigues is someone who shares a great bond with her teammates and is a fun-loving person.

Her love for singing and dancing is no secret as she has showcased her talent on social media on several occasions. However, the latest video of the young Mumbai cricketer grooving to the song of the late legendary singer Kishore Kumar has gone viral on social media.

 Only Nepal hurdle ahead for India to qualify for semis  

India are on the verge of qualifying for the semi-final after winning two games in a row. They opened their campaign with a historic win over arch-rivals Pakistan. Openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma put on a partnership of 85 runs to set the tone for India’s 109-run chase.

Jemimah Rodrigues hit the winning run in the first ball of the 15th over to record India Women's biggest win against Pakistan in terms of balls remaining.  In the following match, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. breached the 200-run mark for the first time in T20I history.

The Women in Blue will take on Nepal at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Tuesday, July 23. Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. will aim for a win to seal a semi-final berth.
