Abhinav Manohar who plays for Gujarat Titans in the IPL turned into prime Rohit Sharma on Saturday. The 29-year-old played a match-winning knock of 70 not out to guide his team to a 6-wicket win with 29 balls left to play. 

During his match-winning knock, Abhinav Manohar got a short ball. the batter rocked onto his back foot and pulled the ball deep into the stands for a huge six. Fans who saw the shot were reminded of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who is a master of the pull shot. 

Thanks to the efforts from Abhinav Manohar, the Shivamogga Lions were able to claim their first win of the season. Hubli Tigers on the other hand despite the loss kept their top spot in the table intact.

It was Hubli Tigers who batted first and were bowled out for 141 inside 20 overs. Vasuki Koushik struck two early blows by dismissing Mohammad Taha for 4 and Adarsh Prajwal for a duck. Thippa Reddy then scored 7 runs before he was dismissed by Anand in the 8th over. 

Krishnan Shrijith tried to fight back with 25 runs but he too fell in the 7th over. His knock came off 26 balls with the help of 2 fours and a six. Veteran Indian star Manish Pandey who is the captain of Hubli Tigers was the best batter with 44 runs from 31 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. 

Manvanth Kumar then used the long handle to score 28 runs from 13 balls with the help of 4 sixes. This helped Hubli to reach a decent-looking 141 on the board. Dheeraj Mohan scored 17 runs from 16 balls and added 32 runs for the 1st wicket with Nihal Ullah to give the Lions a good start. 

Nihal Ullal was out for 37 from 34 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes while Bharath Dhurvi was out for just 1. Abhinav Manohar remained steadfast as he scored 70 from just 27 balls with 2 fours and 9 huge sixes to help his side claim their first points of the season.
