WATCH: Indian cricket team left in splits after Sarfaraz Khan takes comical catch during practice session

Virat Kohli is a jolly character when he is on the field. The camaraderie between the Indian team players is always evident during the practice sessions for the BGT series when they pull each other's legs or imitate each other in a fun way. Ahead of the most serious, intense and crucial Test series of the year, the players were seen having a fun time during the practice session. 

An incident went viral on social media and caught the attention of the fans. While Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, and Dhruv Jurel were doing catch practice, a ball came towards Sarfaraz, and he held it in a comical manner. Seeing the player's reaction, the teammates burst into laughter. Pant laughed out loud and fell to the ground.

The team's atmosphere looked quite sorted before the epic clash took place. Players were seen enjoying themselves while doing their net practice and during the intra-squad simulation match. India will have to win four out of five games against Australia in order to qualify for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC), which is a huge hassle.

It's your duty to try him at least: Aakash Chopra

India's former cricketer Aakash Chopra urged the Indian team management to show their confidence in Sarfaraz Khan since they have taken him to Australia with them. While the competition will be between Sarfaraz and Dhruv Jurel, as per recent form, management should give Sarfaraz a chance before dropping him. 

"Can Sarfaraz not be considered at all? Although you and I might have less confidence in him, it doesn't make a difference what you, I or the team think about him. If you have taken him along, it's your duty to try him at least," he said.
