Ibrahim Zadran's unique celebration after century Photograph: (X)
Afghanistan's opener Ibrahim Zadran scripts history in Pakistan as he scored a scintillating century against England in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025. Zadran became the first Afghanistan batter to score a ton in the ICC World Cup and Champions Trophy. But that is not the highlight of the game. He came up with a unique century celebration that took the entire limelight.
He took a run to reach his century and then made some gestures towards the dressing room to celebrate. The batter took off his gloves and made some gestures with his hands while looking at his teammates, cheering for him in the dugout. It was a rare celebration, but the player seemed to enjoy it. It is a must-win game for Afghanistan and seeing his performance, his team will be proud of him.

Azmatullah Omarzai hits three stunning sixes against England
Afghanistan's all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai hit three stunning sixes in the ongoing game against England. He also scored one boundary as well. In total, he has scored 41 runs off 31 balls. He hit one straight six, which was absolutely brilliant. It was more of a replica of how Virat Kohli hit against Pakistan in 2022.
England's bowlers did a good job of taking quick wickets at the start of the game. However, they failed to dismiss Zadran which is why the score went up in the middle overs. Jofra Archer claimed three wickets in nine overs. Now, the batters will have to score runs to win the must-win game.
