Former RCB skipper and the batting stalwart was caught speaking his mother tongue, Punjabi, while warning the star PBKS skipper Harpreet Brar in the second innings. After noticing Harpreet Brar’s rude attitude, Virat was seen schooling him, and the conversation was caught on the stump mic.
“20 saal ho gaye ne, tuhade coach nu vi jaanda main, tera hatth vada theek ho gaya, edda stumpa’n todi’da hai (It’s been 20 years now, I even know your coach, you hand is so much free that you break the stumps like this),” Kohli was heard saying to Brar in the second innings.
The video of Virat Kohli schooling Harpreet Brar in typical Punjabi language also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).
