Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya is yet again the toast of the nation after his splendid performance in the T20 World Cup 2024. The 30-year-old was part of the Indian squad that had assembled in Wankhede Stadium. It was a great return for the all-rounder to the venue just a few months after he was booed.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper, was in full praise for the efforts shown by Hardik Pandya in the final over of the T20 World Cup. The all-rounder gave away just 8 runs in the over, which also included the wicket of David Miller to help India seal their 2nd T20 World Cup.

Once Rohit Sharma was heard lauding him, the entire Wankhede Stadium started to chant ‘Hardik..Hardik’. It took some time for Hardik to realize his name was being chanted. The star all-rounder then stood up and took the applause from the fans as there was a massive cheer.
