Gus Atkinson gets the first breakthrough for England in the ongoing 1st Test match against New Zealand where he dismissed opener Devon Conway in just two runs. The batter was shocked by the kind of ball that came his way. In the last ball of the 2nd over, Atkinson bowled a full and outside off ball, which wasn't in a driving length.

However, Conway thought it would have been possible to drive the ball through the covers but ended up pushing it back at the bowler. Atkinson was smart enough to keep his eyes on the ball and when he saw it coming towards him, he caught it. It was a low diving catch which was pretty astounding.

Opener Top Latham who is also the captain of New Zealand scored 47 runs in 54 balls. Meanwhile, Kane Williamson scored 93 runs in 197 balls and Rachin Ravindra scored 34 runs in 49 balls. Shoaib Bashir bowled 20 overs and claimed four wickets. As we write, in 80 overs New Zealand have scored 312 runs at the loss of eight wickets.

Kane Williamson turns nightmare for English bowlers

One of the best Test batters, Kane Williamson scored yet another scintillating half-century against England but failed to score his century by just seven runs. Gus Atkinson was the main culprit behind dismissing the in-form batter who is playing cricket after a long time. He sustained an injury and had to miss out the India tour. Now that he is back, he is showing the world what he is capable of doing.

He hit ten boundaries on the way of scoring a century. It was a soft dismissal and the batter was stunned. Atkinson bowled a short ball outside off but due to extra bounce Williamson couldn't control the shot and hit to backward point where Zak Crawley was standing. After that, Williamson's outstanding innings came to an end.
