The selection of Gautam Gambhir as India's head coach has brought a positive change in the dressing room atmosphere of the Indian Cricket team. However, fans saw an unexpected site when the Board of Control for Cricket in India released some pictures and a video of stalwart Virat Kohli conversing with Gautam Gambhir.

That is not it. The pictures showed Gambhir laughing like a child while conversing with Kohli, which cracked up the minds of fans who never thought of watching this, considering the rivalry the legends have had in the past. Even the ICC posted pictures on social media where fans seemed enthusiastic about watching the upcoming ODI series and seeing these two bonding together.

India will play against Sri Lanka in a 3-match ODI series starting on August 2. The return of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul has made the fans anticipate more about the matches coming ahead. Recently, in the T20I series, India clean sweeped Sri Lanka, 3-0, under the captaincy of Suryakymar Yadav.

It takes a lot of time to build a squad: Kavya Maran

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran raised issues regarding the mega auction and said that it takes time to build an entire squad. The mega auction takes away the good players as retention of all players becomes difficult. Hence, the Board will decide on this after talking to the IPL Advisory. 

"It takes a lot of time to build a squad and as discussed, it also takes quite a bit of time and investment for the younger players to mature. It has taken Abhishek Sharma three years to become consistent with his performances. You would agree that there are many such examples in other teams too," stated Kavya after the meeting.
