The rivalry between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took a different turn in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. RCB beat CSK in the last group stage game, which was a do-or-die game for both teams. What happened afterward was sheer disrespect. The CSK team waited for their opponents to shake hands, a post-match ritual.
Apart from that, the RCB fans humiliated the CSK fans outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. This led to a massive rivalry between both teams, and a glimpse of it will be visible this year as well. Interestingly, during RCB's Unbox Event 2025, a fan entered the venue wearing CSK's jersey. The people around him tried to corner him but didn't cross their limits.

Rajat Patidar-led RCB team haven't won the trophy yet, despite playing in the tournament for 17 years. It will be extremely interesting to see their performance this year under a new captain. RCB leave for Kolkata ahead of first game against KKR

The tournament will start on March 22, and as always, an opening ceremony will be held with famous celebrities lighting up the environment.
