Rajasthan Royals (RR), who are currently struggling in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season, are set for a huge test on Thursday. Shimron Hetmyer was seen dropping an easy catch that left RR’s fielding frustrated. The coach then proceeded to playfully reprimand the player. Ahead of the next catch practice session, the coach could be heard saying, “Ek catch pakadta nahi” (He doesn’t even hold onto a single catch).

The coach also said, “Seedhe catch pe gire jaa raha” (He falls onto the floor in even simple catches). This was followed by the coach displaying Hetmyer’s antics of falling on the ground while taking a catch. The West Indian batter made up for his mistakes and produced a one-handed stunner that finally saw the coach say “Pakda… Pakda, Kabootar Pakda” (He’s finally caught it).

Rahul Dravid comes up with funny response to RCB’s bad home record

Ahead of the game on Thursday, RR’s coach Rahul Dravid addressed the media. The former Indian legendary batter and coach was asked to give his views on RCB’s three successive losses. Dravid was quick to come up with a hilarious reply and said, “Do we have an RCB player from last time? Play him in the XI straightaway.”

The 52-year-old was also asked if he felt emotional about facing his former side. Dravid replied, “No, not at all, man. I don't think about it like that, to be very honest. Just trying to play a good game of cricke”t. It is to be noted that Dravid was RCB’s captain in the inaugural season and played three seasons for the franchise before moving to Rajasthan.

When asked to describe his team’s chances of making it to the playoffs, Dravid said, “We know we have to play well to be still alive in this tournament. I know we've lost a couple of close games coming into this, but we've played some good cricket as well. It's one of those tournaments where a few balls going here or there and we might have been in a slightly different position, but you need to play well in those critical moments.”
