WATCH: 'Don't even talk to them' - Harshit Rana comes up with hilarious answer on BCCI in IPL 2024

Harshit Rana has been on the radar of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. For his wrong gestures, he has been fined twice, along with one match suspension from the tournament. Even after receiving these punishments, he hasn't learnt his lesson yet as he made another gesture during the match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) just to tease BCCI. 

In a video that went viral, Rana was having a fun conversation with their coach Ramakant Pandit on a flight because of an unwanted delay. Coach Pandit asked him to talk to the BCCI and shift the match set for May 19th to which the player replied, "Don't even talk about BCCI."

Harshit Rana has given some brilliant breakthroughs to the team with his bowling performance and has turned into an asset for the KKR team. In nine matches, he has taken 14 wickets, with his best being 3/24. While he is a real talent, if he continues to mess up with the BCCI, his career might be jeopardised.

Why was Harshit Rana banned?

The entire scene started with the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which was Harshit Rana's debut match, he dismissed star batter Mayank Agarwal and blew a flying kiss towards him. The Board didn't take this gesture lightly and fined him 60% of his match fee. However, after a few matches, he tried to do the same thing against Delhi Capitals but controlled himself after a while. After this, he was banned for one match as he breached IPL's Code of Conduct. 

Nevertheless, these punishments didn't mean anything to him as he pulled off another gesture against the LSG after dismissing KL Rahul. Harshit was seen putting his figure on his lips after dismissing the skipper, which didn't amuse the viewers. Fortunately for him, he didn't receive any punishment this time.
