Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper and batter Jitesh Sharma was trolled by the local DJ in the Indian Premier League (IPL) game on Friday. Chennai Super Kings’ in-house DJ played the song ‘Dosa, Idli, Sambhar, Chutney’ as soon as Sharma was out on the fourth ball of the 18th over of the innings to Khaleel Ahmed for 12 runs.
For the unversed, a few days ago, RCB players were asked to give their view on Chennai. Jitesh was quick to utter the famous lines from the now viral song. Many fans didn’t like the response from the IPL and India star. The DJ in the stadium didn’t hold back as he had a playful go at the batter as soon as Sharma was dismissed.

RCB bowlers leave Chennai’s innings in tatters
Chasing 197 runs to keep their proud home record alive, CSK began poorly as Josh Hazlewood picked two early wickets. Rahul Tripathi failed to keep down the pull shot and was caught by Phil Salt after scoring five runs from three balls. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad who had scored a fifty in the last game was out for a duck.
Hazlewood’ short ball saw Gaikwad go for the pull shot but managed to give an easy catch to substitute fielder Manoj Bhandage. Bhuvneshwar Kumar then got into the act as he got the wicket of Deepak Hooda for four runs. The umpire hadn’t given the batter out but Rajat Patidar decided to use the review and the decision came in RCB’s favor.
Liam Livingstone got the fourth wicket of the innings when he got the wicket of Sam Curran for eight runs. Krunal Pandya took an easy catch to reduce CSK to 52 for four in the ninth over. At the end of the powerplay overs, CSK were struggling at 30 for 3 as the RCB bowlers showed their discipline with the ball.
