WATCH: Dayyaan Galiem brings out cold celebration after dismissing Rassie van der Dussen in SA20 clash

MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals are clashing against each other in the 6th match of the SA20 2025 at the Newlands on January 13. The Royals are yet to open their winning account while MI have won their first match but lost the second one. Both will look to get a win in the match.

Meanwhile, Royals' fast bowler Dayyaan Galiem came up with a cool celebration after dismissing MI Cape Town’s Rassie van der Dussen in the 12th over of the first innings. Galiem bowled a short, slower delivery outside off. Van der Dussen tried to hit it through the off-side but got an under-edge that sent the ball onto the stumps.

Galiem brilliant bowling display

Talking about the match, MI Cape Town won the toss and opted to bat first. However, they didn’t have a great start as they lost their star opener Ryan Rickelton in the third over for just 8 runs. But Reeza Hendricks and van der Dussen steadied the ship and built a 79-run stand for the 2nd wicket.

However, van der Dussen’s dismissal in the 12th over decreased the flow of runs for MI Cape Town. The right-handed batter departed after scoring 43 runs off 33 balls which included three fours and two sixes. MI then lost two back-to-back wickets of Colin Ingram and George Linde in the 14th and 15th over respectively.

Afghanistan star spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman dismissed Hendricks in the 16th over. Galiem was the best bowler for Royals as he dismissed thre batters and conceded only 24 runs in his four overs quota. He also helped his team to restrict MI Cape Town on 172 runs in the first innings.
