In the all-important Qualifier 2 of the SA20 2025, Paarl Royals took on defending Sunrisers Eastern Cape. The Royals won the toss and decided to bat first at the Super Sport Centurion.
In the first innings, the Men in Pink saw two half-centuries by Lhuan-dre Pretorious and Runin Hermann. This helped them get a total of 175 runs on the board. What stood out the most was when Hermann reached the fifty-run mark.
As he celebrated his half century, his partner at the other end, David Miller, took his bat and hilariously checked it. He then showed it to the crowd and his teammates. This made for a hilarious moment between the two during the tense match.
