Arshdeep Singh has been phenomenal with the ball in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024. In the match against Maharastra, Arshdeep troubled the opponent's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad from the very first ball. He didn't allow him to get settled even for a minute, and Gaikwad's short innings came to an end early. The batter scored five runs in as many balls, hitting just a boundary. Arshdeep didn't stop there.
He claimed the second wicket as well by removing Siddhesh Veer on a duck. The bowler was outstanding in his spells and still has a long way to go as the game just got started. In the ongoing quarter-finals, Punjab won the toss and chose to bowl first. It was a tricky decision by the captain Abhishek Sharma, as the bowlers claimed two early wickets.

However, Maharastra still managed to score 191 runs in 40 overs, as we write. The credit goes to Arshin Kulkarni and Ankit Bawne for putting up a brilliant third-wicket partnership of 145 runs. They batted for thirty overs straight, helping the team get over the collapse.
