This visit also comes after Kohli had announced his retirement from the Test format on Monday. The 36-year-old will focus entirely on ODI cricket and the IPL after having hung up his boots in the longest format. Anushka and Virat are known to make visits to religious places and seek divine blessings.

Gujarat Titans are currently leading the table with RCB, as both have played 11 games and have 16 points each. Punjab Kings are third with 15 points and their truncated game against Delhi Capitals is set to be replayed. Mumbai Indians are fourth in the table and they will play their final home game against Delhi before heading to Jaipur to take on Punjab.

‘Need a couple of series to figure out…’ – Cheteshwar Pujara on Rohit and Kohli's retirement

Indian veteran batter Cheteshwar Pujara feels that the team will have a huge challenge in adjusting to the latest retirements. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli called time on their Test careers within just one week. The move comes ahead of the huge tour of England where the next cycle of World Test Championships is set to begin.

Pujara, during his chat with ESPN Cricinfo, said, “We will need a couple of series to figure out who is well suited to bat at No. 4, because it's an important position. You need your best batter to bat at No. 4. And at this time, I think it's still a spot where the team management will have to figure out who the most suited player at No. 4 is."

When asked who can replace Virat Kohli at the crucial number four spot, Pujara said to Cricinfo, “It's still early days to make a call, but it will be important to see who performs well in England because someone who can perform well in England can have that No. 4 spot.”
