Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj has scripted history in the Ranji Trophy by becoming the third bowler in the tournament to claim 10 wickets in one innings. Before him, Premangsu Mohan Chatterjee and Pradeep Sunderam were the ones who did it.
While playing against Kerala, Kamboj sent the entire team back into the pavilion and conceded just 49 runs in his historic spell. Kerala batters put on an impressive show in the innings but it was Kamboj who took the limelight with his terrific bowling performance.
He also claimed 50 wickets in just 19 innings in First-class cricket, which is sheer brilliance. Emerging as one of the best players in the tournament, Kamboj has evolved a lot in his game. The experience he has collected is filled with immense dedication and hard work. With this, he has now entered the book of records.

Kerala scored 291 runs in the first innings and then, Haryana could only manage to score 139 runs at the loss of seven wickets on day three. Getting a result in this game isn't possible, but Kerala might steal points if Haryana batters give away wickets without completing the trail of 152 runs.
Anshul Kamboj's consistent performance in domestic cricket is commendable
The right-arm medium fast-pace bowler Anshul Kamboj gained the spotlight after being selected by the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024. Before that, he has been consistent in taking wickets in the domestic tournaments. In Duleep Trophy, he became the third pacer to record an eight-wicket haul in the Duleep Trophy, behind Mohanty (10/46) and Ashoke Dinda (8/123).
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Haryana clinched the title for the first time where Kamboj was among the leading wicket-takers. He claimed 17 wickets in 10 matches. Apart from that, he has 23 wickets from 15 List-A games to his name.
