India's ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya dismissed England's opener, Phil Salt, in the second over of the game, putting the visitors under pressure. This is the third consecutive failed performance of Salt in the series. He is the new recruit of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for the 18th season of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).

Pandya bowled a pitched-up full and wide outside-off delivery to tackle the batter. Salt hit it straight to the covers where Abhishek Sharma took a comfortable catch. The batter was disappointed but more than him, the RCB management would be stressed after seeing their player's performance.

After losing the wicket in the second over, England picked up the game really well. Ben Duckett and Jos Buttler have been brilliant with the bat, forming a 50+ partnership in 9 overs. The pitch seems flat, and the outfield is quick, which is helping the batters score more runs.

Mohammed Shami wears the Indian jersey after 14 months

After missing out on 14 months of cricket, Mohammed Shami makes a comeback in the Indian team after 14 months. The cricketer last played an international game in November 2023. He played domestic cricket to prove his fitness but didn't get a chance in the two T20I games against England. However, the Indian management went with Shami over Arshdeep Singh in the third game, giving the pacer a chance.

India are leading the series, 2-0, and are just a game away from clinching the series. The Suryakumar Yadav-led team have done well in the previous two games and the same will be expected from them in th ongoing match as well.
