Bangladesh came into the battleground to play an ODI match after eight months on Wednesday against Afghanistan. However, their performance was extremely terrible as the middle order collapsed in front of an 18-year-old boy who claimed six wickets. Afghanistan's spin wizard Allah Ghazanfar bowled beyond expectations to finish off the Bangladesh batting attack before reaching the target.
Bangladesh were 120-3 and were bowled out on 143 runs. Allah's terrific bowling led to Bangladesh's massive collapse when the ball became comparatively old. He was brilliant with the variations, making it difficult for the batters to play him and return to the pavilion.

Afghanistan took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh. If they manage to win the 2nd match, the series will be written in their name. The kind of players they have makes it difficult for Bangladesh to win. Afghanistan too were struggling at one point, but Mohammad Nabi and captain Hashmatullah Shahidi managed the game really well with their confident batting.
Mohammad Nabi's brilliant 84 runs helped Afghanistan go from 71-5 to 235 runs
All-rounder and one of the team's most experienced players, Mohammad Nabi, played a beautiful knock of 84 runs against Bangladesh, where he saved his team from a collapse. When he walked into bat, Afghanistan's condition wasn't good. They were struggling to reach 100 runs as half of the side returned to the pavilion on just 71 runs.
With captain Shahidi standing at one end, Nabi gained the confidence to go on and play an unforgettable innings to save his team. He scored 84 runs off 79 balls, hitting four boundaries and three sixes. Nabi's intent and efforts were visible when he was playing the bowlers efficiently. Moreover, half of the credit goes to skipper Shahidi as well for scoring 52 runs and building a 100-run partnership with Nabi.
