The fun banter between Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan always surfaces over the internet primarily because of the savage replies given by both players. The viewers enjoy the healthy battle between the legendary batters on social media, where they keep poking each other on cricket matches related to their countries.

In the recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka, India lost the series 0-2, which was embarrassing for the players and the country. On August 11, Jaffer kept an online Q&A session, urging his followers to ask questions on various matters.

Keeping the Sri Lanka series as the subject, Vaughan took to Twitter and taunted Jaffer saying, "Hi Wasim .. What was the recent ODI series result in Sri Lanka? I have been away and missed it .. Hope all is well."

Jaffer, being Jaffer, replied to Vaughan's tweet, which will stay with the former English batter forever. The former Indian batter said, "I'll put it in Ashes terms for you, Michael. Ind won as many games in that series as the Tests Eng have won in Aus in last 12 years."

Upcoming Ashes series scheduled in 2025

The upcoming Ashes series is set to be played in Australia in 2025. After a gap of two years, the Ashes series will return to Australia, where England will travel to take their revenge. The series will take place from November 2025 to February 2026. The venues have already been decided: Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to watch the Ashes since Australia's fierce bowling attack will be waiting for the English batters. In the previous edition of the Ashes, the series was drawn 2-2, which was held in England. Hence, Australia are the defending champions as they have won the series in 2022, 4-0.
