"I have practically lived the dream. Nothing comes close to playing for the country," said Sunil Chhetri on Instagram.

Chhetri's friendship with cricketer Virat Kohli is quite famous as they have made appearances in a lot of matches supporting each other. Even on Instagram and other interviews, the players were seen together having fun conversations. After the retirement announcement of Chhetri, Virat commented on his Instagram post saying, 'My brother. PROUD'.

Kohli is set to play the most important match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 18. However, one big hurdle which might come their way in Bengaluru is the weather. After heat waves, Bengaluru is finally experiencing rain after three months which might play a spoilsport during the epic clash.
