Here are the top 5 players to have scored a century and taken a 10-fer at the Lord's Cricket Ground to put their names on the Honor board of the iconic ground.

Lord’s is known as the holy grail of cricket and the home of cricket. It is a special feeling to score a century or take a fifer for any player at this venue. On Friday Gus Atkinson wrote his name on the honours board after his blistering century during the 2nd Test vs Sri Lanka.     

Some of the well-known names like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Brian Lara, and Ricky Ponting have failed to score a century at this venue. Some of the English players have established a special relationship with this legendary ground. 

One of the rare records at this ground is when a player scored a century as well as took a ten-fer at Lords. Till now only a select few players have been able to achieve this feat and acquire legendary status.

5- Keith Miller

Former Australian star player Keith Miller has played just three matches in Lord’s. In a mere three games, the former Aussie legend has managed to score a century and pick a 10-fer at this iconic venue. Keith Miller scored his century during the 1953 Ashes series where he scored 109 in the 2nd innings while batting at number 3. With the ball, Miller’s 10-fer came during the 1956 Ashes series where he grabbed 10/152 in the match with fifers in each innings. 

4- Ian Botham

Sir Ian Botham has played a total of 15 Tests at Lord’s and scored 652 runs with an average of 31 with one ton. He has also picked 69 wickets at this venue with a best of 8/34 which is his career best. Ian Botham’s only test ton at this venue in his maiden appearance versus Pakistan where he scored 108 runs. Ian Botham picked the 10-fer in the game against New Zealand where he picked 6/101 in the first innings and 5/39 in the 2nd to end with figures of 11/140 in the game. 

3- Stuart Broad

Former England star Stuart Broad enjoyed a fair share of success at Lord’s. During his career, Stuart Broad became one of the few players to score a century and pick a 10-fer at Lord’s. His only Test ton came during the 2010 game against Pakistan where he scored his career-best 169. With the ball, Stuart Broad picked 113 wickets from 28 matches with a best of 7/44. His only 10-fer at this ground came in 2012 when he picked 11/165 against West Indies. In the first innings, Broad picked 7/72 and then followed it up with 4/93 in the 2nd innings. 

2- Chris Woakes

England all-rounder Chris Woakes when fit has been one of the best players with the bat and ball. The veteran star has played 7 Tests at Lord’s and scored 335 runs with one century which came against India in 2018. His 10-fer at this iconic venue came against Pakistan during the 2016 test match. Chris Woakes picked 6/70 in the first innings and 5/32 in the 2nd to end with figures of 11/102 in the game.

The young England star made his Test debut against West Indies at Lord’s. It was also the game where James Anderson played his final ever game in English colours. Gus Atkinson marked his debut with 7/45 in the first innings and then picked up 5/61 in the 2nd innings to end with figures of 12/106. With the bat, the 26-year-old scored his first-ever century across all formats during the 2nd test vs Sri Lanka. This made Gus Atkinson one of the few players to score a century and pick a 10-fer at Lord’s.
