'This whole tournament we have...' - Rahul Dravid sheds light on India team performance for T20 World Cup 2024 tournament

The D-Day of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 has finally arrived and South Africa will take on India in the finals. Two unbeaten teams will be up against each other, fighting for that ultimate championship at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Ahead of this epic clash, India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, shed light on India's performance in the entire tournament. 

"I think what's really important is that we've done really well as a group. This whole tournament we have shown the ability to adapt, to recognize what is a good score. We played very differently in New York, then we played in St. Lucia, then we played even in Barbados when I thought that the game was quite slow," said Rahul Dravid as quoted by NDTV. 

This is the third time in 12 months India have qualified for the ICC event's finals. They lost to Australia twice, once in the WTC 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023. Hence, this match against South Africa is extremely important for India as the entire country's eyes are on the trophy.

Weather report of Ind vs SA's clash 

While the Finals will be played at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, there are high chances of rain during the game. In the last 24 hours, there have been constant showers, which is a matter of concern for the teams. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has allotted 190 extra minutes to the game.

Apart from this, a reserve day is allotted to the game, which might be a sign of relief for the teams. Both teams' performances in the tournament have been fantastic, and they will try to continue their winning momentum in the finals.
