'They can bowl 40 overs of spin...' - Former India cricketer praises Afghanistan for having best spinners in squad ahead of Champions Trophy 2025

India's former cricketer Aakash Chopra praised the Afghanistan team for taking quality spinners with them for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. They have players like Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad who can take wickets in slightest spin conditions. Hence, he also mentioned that India too have a good spin attack but Afghanistan's team is the best as they have four solid options. 

"They have Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Allah Ghazanfar and Mohammad Nabi. Now tell me whose is better. We pick bowlers who also bat well, barring Kuldeep Yadav. They have one better than the other. They can bowl 40 overs of spin. They will make the opposition surrender even if there is slight help for spin from the pitch," said Aakash Chopra.

Afghanistan team wre the underdogs in the ODI WC 2023 and hence, qualified for the Champions Trophy. The team has improved a lot in the last few years and now, all eyes will be on them in the ICC event. Rashid Khan is the captain of Afghanistan who has a lot of experience and can lead the team really well.

MI Cape Town's captain Rashid Khan made a hilarious revelation saying he forgets things so he writes it on his arm. Ahead of MI's finals against the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Rashid spoke about the team's chances and how the entire tournament went by. Before the Champions Trophy, Rashid had a good time on the field as a captain which will help him in the future. 

"The series gives you an idea of how to get out of difficulties in pressure situations. It gives you ideas, for the game as well, and you have to use that. Sometimes you forget things as a captain, so I had the idea to write things on my arm to be able to know about the next over," said Rashid Khan.
