The Pakistan Cricket team has always been under constant criticism for the level of fitness they have among players. On an international level, fitness should increase, which will benefit the game and mindset of players. However, the entire team's fitness, including Babar Azam, is questionable. Hence, coach Gary Kirsten has decided to have a 'zero-tolerance policy' for fitness in the Pakistan team.

As per Geo TV, Kirsten also lashed out at the players for not knowing where and when to play a particular shot, which became the reason behind their dismissal.  Moreover, after Babar Azam's return to captaincy, the team didn't have unity among them as the players did not support each other, which the coach highlighted in his meeting with them. He also clarified that the team will focus more on fitness henceforth, which will help them in the longer run of life.

After their poor and disappointing performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan was out of the tournament even without qualifying for Super 8. This certainly did jeopardize their chances in the upcoming edition. However, their ICC T20I rankings saved them, and they'll be a part of the T20 World Cup in 2026 without playing the qualifiers. The tournament will be held in India and Sri Lanka.

Babar Azam, along with five players, to take a holiday in London

After a disappointing outing, Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam is in no mood to sit and regret all his decisions during World Cup 2024. Hence, he's all set for a holiday in London with his family and five other players. The players include Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan.

As per reports, none of them will return to Pakistan from the US. Moreover, some are also planning to play local tournaments in the UK. As much as the team likes to draw controversy, this vacation seems useless for them since they haven't done anything extraordinary in the tournament.
