There has already been a lot of debate around the question of if India are getting an ‘extra advantage’ while playing all of their Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Dubai. The list has been quite long now of those who have raised their voice against India getting all their matches in Dubai.

It included two former England skippers, Pakistan cricket team’s interim head coach Aqib Javed, Australia’s regular skipper Pat Cummins and a renowned Proteas batter. All these have spoken about the alleged ‘clear and big’ advantage for India in Dubai.

However, in a sudden and opposite turnaround of events, the New Zealand cricket team, who will face India in their third and last league match of the tournament in Dubai, have nothing negative or concerning to say on this entire debate.

It's been decided, and that's the way it is - Michael Bracewell

The Blackcaps all-rounder Michael Bracewell came up with support in which he extended his support to Team India and stressed the fact that his side is more focused and excited to adapt to the conditions instead of going into any debate.

“Look, it is what it is. It's been decided, and that's the way it is, and there's no point dwelling on that. It's part of what makes it exciting. I think it's coming to a different ground and trying to figure out those different conditions. Yeah, not much more to say on that other than we're excited to try and learn and play in different conditions,” said Bracewell ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025 game against India in Dubai.

“The wickets here have looked like they've taken a bit of a spin. So, it'll be good to try and get used to the wickets as quickly as we can. We've enjoyed the pitches in Pakistan. And I think we've got a pretty well-balanced side to play in any condition. So hopefully, we can continue to do that and adjust to what's in front of us,” he added later.
