The former West Indian skipper is the current mentor of KKR, and Dhoni, on spotting Bravo was quick to say “The traitor is here”. To which Bravo said, “Life is so unfair”. Bravo was seen greeting Ravindra Jadeja before going on to shake Dhoni’s hand. The two players share a close bond with each other, with Bravo being a key part of CSK’s success.

Ajinkya Rahane will head back to Chennai knowing fully well that he needs to win the game. KKR head into the game on the back of the four-run loss to Lucknow Super Giants at home. Rahane himself is a former CSK player, having spent a few seasons under MS Dhoni’s leadership and was part of the 2023 title win.

Ruturaj Gaikwad breaks his silence after being ruled out of IPL 2025

On Thursday, news broke that regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL 2025 season. Gaikwad had injured his forearm in the away game against Rajasthan Royals when he was hit by Tushar Deshpande’s short ball. Gaikwad went on to play the next two games before he was eventually ruled out of the entire season.

The 28-year-old posted a message on CSK’s official social media handle and said, “I am really gutted to miss the rest of the IPL due to an unfortunate elbow injury. I want to thank everyone for your support so far, it truly means a lot. Yes, it's been a challenging season, but we’ve got a young wicketkeeper leading the team now, and hopefully things will turn around. I’ll be right there with the squad, supporting them from the dugout”

Gaikwad also added, “I would’ve loved to help lift the team out of this situation, but some things are simply out of our control. Looking forward to backing the boys for the rest of the campaign, here's to a strong finish to the season.”
