Former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha revealed a massive advice given to him by Rohit Sharma. The two shared dressing both for the national side as well as in the IPL with Deccan Chargers as well Mumbai Indians. It was under Rohit Sharma that Mumbai Indians won their first IPL title where Pragyan Ojha played a massive role.

Pragyan Ojha recently said “The best advice I received was from Rohit Sharma when we were playing U19 cricket. He said, ‘Everyone wants to play for the country because we have come at the U19 level. But if you want to play for India for a long time, then you need to be a match-winner”

Rohit Sharma is back home after the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The visitors lost the series 2-0 and this was the first series loss for India in an ODI series versus Sri Lanka for 27 years.

Former Pakistan pacer slams Indian batting

Tanvir Ahmed has been in the news recently for his statements on the Indian cricket team. Tanvir Ahmed called out the new members of the Indian team for their inability to play spin bowling.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Tanvir Ahmed said “ All the new Indian batters at the moment, barring Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli cannot carry the batting line-up in the future.

The former Pakistani pacer also said “You see what happens to the Indian batting in the future. Their bowling line up might work out but the batting unit will find it difficult. They might score runs in their home conditions where the pitches are flat”

Tanvir Ahmed also said “But on surfaces, where the ball turns, seams, and swings the batting line-up of India doesn’t have the life to bat on those conditions” Many former cricketers have called out the Indian team over their meek surrender during the ODI series.

After a short break, the Indians will play two series at home before the tour to Australia. It was confirmed a few days ago that the visiting Indian side will play the Prime Minister XI in a day and night game at the Manuka Oval in Canberra before the Adelaide Test.
