Meanwhile, the former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar recently spoke about this high-voltage clash between two cricketing giants. He gave his opinion while talking about the possibilities of India’s comeback or dominance in the game.

“Somebody get Travis Head out” – Sajay Manjrekar

Manjrekar expressed his point of view on the game's potential ‘defining moment’ for Rohit Sharma-led Team India.

“Somebody get Travis Head out, whoever that is. He is one guy that India will really want back in the dressing room very quickly. That is going to be the moment for me. Travis Head,” said Manjrekar to ESPNCricinfo.

“I think it's going to be the middle phase. I think with Maxwell and Kuldeep Yadav or a spinner - Varun Chakravarthy. That would be the biggest thing,” he added later.

Notably, the Men in Blue are enjoying an amazing run of form in their last five ODIs, registering five consecutive wins, including three successive wins in the three league matches of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. They will aim to beat Australia and continue their winning streak to enter the tournament’s summit clash.

On the other hand, the defending ODI World Cup Champions, Australia, haven’t been through an expected run of form in their last five ODIs. They have won only one game while losing two games, alongside an ‘abandoned’ and a ‘no-result’ game.

Here’s a look at India’s Predicted Playing XI for Semi-Final against Australia:

Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill (VC), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, KL Rahul (WK), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakravarthy.
