The 22nd match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is between Pakistan and Canada, which will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, on June 11. While Canada won one and lost one game, Pakistan lost both games. Their first loss came against the USA, while the second came against India.
This is a must-win game for the Men in Green because if the USA qualifies for Super 8, they'll have to play qualifiers before the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Hence, they will be cautious during the match as one mistake can become very dangerous.

This is Canada's maiden T20 World Cup; hence, they have yet to play any matches against Pakistan.
The New York pitch has been quite slow in all of the matches, and the captain winning the toss should happily field first. The major reason is the overcast conditions, followed by the bounce and the slow outfield. Hence, the safest option is fielding first and getting to know the pitch's nature for the second half.
