The incident happened as soon as Nurul Hasan hit Kyle Mayers for a last-ball six to win the match. Cameras spotted Tamim Iqbal angrily march towards the former England opener with angry words being exchanged. Hales was also being held back, and he accused the veteran batter of being "rude."

Alex Hales, as quoted by Sportskeeda, said, “He was asking if I was embarrassed for getting banned for drugs for England, and he was asking if I was still taking drugs, and he was very, very rude. It's a real shame really because if anything happens on the field that just ends on the field, but to get personal and that too after the game, I think is pathetic to be honest.”

As per Sportskeeda, Tamim Iqbal asked Alex Hales, “Why are you behaving this way? If you have something to say, say it to my face. Act like a man." The latest act by Tamim Iqbal has given the league a huge bad name. It is not the first time Bangladeshi players have gotten into a fight on the cricket field with their opponents.

Rangpur Riders claim last ball win

It was Fortune Barishal who batted first and scored 197/5 from their 20 overs. Skipper Tamim Iqbal scored 40 runs, while fellow opener Najmul Shanto scored 41. The best batter was Kyle Mayers, who scored 61 not out from 29 balls with one four and 7 sixes. Towhid Hridoy’s 23 and Faheem Ashraf’s 20 helped Barishal reach a huge total on the board.

In reply, Alex Hales was out for just one run as he was dismissed by Tanvir Islam. Opener Tawfique Khan scored 38 while number 3 batter Saif Hassan scored 22. Pakistan batters Iftikhar Ahmed and Kushdil Shah then scored 48 runs each to bring Rangpur back into the contest.

More drama ensued as Mahedi Hasan was given out for obstructing the field while Mohammad Saifuddin was out for a golden duck. This is when Nurul Hasan came to the party to score 32 not out from 7 balls with three fours and three sixes and help Rangpur win off the last ball.
