The Gujarat Titans (GT) have won an away game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mullanpur. As they achieved victory by three wickets, chasing a score of 143 runs seemed difficult for them at one point. However, the collective batting performance of the team helped them cross the victory line.
On winning the toss, PBKS chose to bat first, which proved to be beneficial for the team at the start of the powerplay. However, as the wickets stumbled, the PKBS batters failed to set a huge target for GT. Hence, they scored just 143 runs, hoping to defend in their backyard. For GT, Sai Kishore took four wickets and conceded 33 runs in four wickets.
In the second innings, GT started their innings well. However, they started losing wickets at regular intervals, which drastically lowered the team's confidence. Shubman Gill and Rahul Tewatia helped GT clinch their fourth victory of the season. For PBKS, Harshel Patel was the standout bowler who took three wickets and conceded just 15 runs in three overs.

Backing up the players has been a thing at the GT camp, which proves to be beneficial every time. GT's bowler, Sai Kishore, claimed four wickets against PBKS, and they went on to win the match by three wickets. It was indeed a memorable match for Kishore which he will surely remember for a long time.
"Just trying to give my 120% for the team, playing after 20-25 days, so just wanted to go there, enjoy myself and give my everything. Ashish Nehra has created a beautiful environment where we can be fearless and play for the team no matter what the result is. He told me to enjoy myself and gave me a lot of freedom to express myself," said Sai Kishore at the post-match presentation.
